Additional Description: The new Jeep Gladiator has re-ignited the love for the classic Jeep CJ8 Scrambler. This example was not only restored to give you true creature comforts, like air conditioning, but also as a true restomod, it delivers something you can't even get on a new Gladiator: fuel-injected V8 power. The CJ8 Scrambler has the unmistakable look of a classic Jeep with the iconic grille, removable panels, and go-anywhere stance. Of course, the Scrambler remains rarer with the CJ7 outselling the CJ8 over 3 to 1 in 1982. That's why these are valued classics, and why someone took the time to give this a nice restoration. The red paint is a more recent application. And the updated silver Scrambler hood decal goes nicely with the bright grille and upgraded bumper. And speaking of well-coordinated, the black on the fender flares, hardtop roof, and swing-away mount for the full-size spare all show off some nice utility together. The black bed rails have a hint of wear so you can see the natural gain of the wood. Plus, the handy truck bed has been coated with liner paint. It's all part of an attractive mix of rarity, style, and ruggedness that makes the whole package quite nice. Part of the restoration meant giving you better creature comforts inside. It includes updated bucket seats with an armrest center console. This has the right features, including cup holders and an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth and a USB input for your phone. Of course, it still doesn't lose that pickup truck attitude. You even have sliding rear glass to get old-school breezes through the cab. Plus, the big reason you want a Scrambler is because it's the pickup that keeps the Jeep tradition of a removable hardtop and doors. And when you're open to the world on a summer day, you're going to be particularly happy that this one has been upgraded with R134a air conditioning. Another great restoration feature was the upgrade in the engine bay. There's a long tradition of Chevy small block V8s fitting cleanly into the CJ. Not only does this 350 cubic-inch motor look like it belonged here since day one, but also they made sure to give it all the right upgrades. That means a FAST electronic fuel-injection system, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. Plus, there are the right supporting components, too, like the serpentine belt system, HEI ignition, and an aluminum radiator. It fires up nicely, like a proper FI machine should, and the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The upgraded V8 power is nice for off-road work, especially when combined with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, tall stance, and BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires. But as you look at the ultra-clean undercarriage, you can see this one hasn't spent much time getting dirty since its restoration. And features like power steering and power brakes w/discs up front reaffirm this one is fine living the everyday life. Complete with build receipts, this is the updated and upgraded rare Jeep Scrambler that has all the features you want. So you know you don't want to let it slip away. Call today!!!

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1982 Jeep CJ-8 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1982 Jeep CJ-8 problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
