Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1977 Chevrolet CORVETTE recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1977 Chevrolet CORVETTE problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1977 Chevrolet Corvette for purchase. C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. After 1974 government restrictions, the gigantic muscle cars were being scaled back to just cruisers more than road carvers. The C3 Corvette though lived on being advertised as a more efficient Corvette while still maintaining the bite that wasn't currently being produced elsewhere. The 1977 models featured steel floor panels which reduced interior noise and weighed less than the previous fiberglass floors. Power levels and speed were on the rise while power everything (steering, brakes, etc) made these a pleasure to drive and handle. The exterior is finished in black over an Oyster Gray leather interior. The car is in good condition and shows well for its age. This 2 owner car has been owned by the current owner since 1983. Other highlights include tilt/telescopic steering wheel, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, Alpine aftermarket stereo(also comes with factory stereo), power windows, and T tops. The 350 v8 runs very well and the automatic transmission shifts as it should.
