Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1970 Oldsmobile CUTLASS recalls can be found in this database. Major Options / Build:
Additional Description: Up for sale we have a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. This Cutlass has had a mild body on resto done. We were told that it was an original 48K mile car. We have miscellaneous documentation and receipts that includes the Protect O Plate. It's a got a lot to offer in ways of options and has been upgraded with new wheels, tires, and brakes. The body on is all rock solid and down the sides are straight with only minor dings and imperfections. Both door gaps are great along with the resto of the gaps being very good. The body is covered in the factory Astro Blue with that is accented by the White Vinyl Top. The paint has been buffed and polished to a slick finish that's very nice. When restored the W30 Hood was added and the front bumper was replaced along with the rear bumper. The rest of the trim is very nice and still has a brilliant shine. All the glass appears to be very nice with rear and side glass being tinted. All the weather stripping around the doors and trunk along with the roof rail seals appears to be replaced. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Billet Specialty Wheels with New Red Lines tires that do a great job of accenting the 6 Pistion and 4 Piston Four Wheel Disc Brakes. Next, we will look at the interior of the '70. On the inside, it looks like it would have in '70 being done in the Blue Interior Scheme. It retains the factory bench seat that's in excellent condition with good padding. The door panels appear to be factory and are in great condition for their age. Looking at the headliner you will see it looks great, has an excellent fit and that the dome light is working. The dash pad and wood grain trim are still very nice. As for the gauges, they all appear to be working from the clock to the speedo, even the dash lights are working. The radio has been upgraded along with the added Rockford Fosgate speakers. In the trunk, you'll notice it has the spare, trunk mat, and floor mats for the interior. Finally, we will get to the driveline of the Oldsmobile. Under the hood everything is neat and clean. It features the 350 Rocket Engine that's mated to the 350 Turbo Trans and 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine is set up with the correct style intake and Rochester 2 Barrel Carb. For exhaust, it has manifolds with dual pipes and mufflers. This Cutlass has Power Steering and Cold Factory Air Condition that's been upgraded to the 134A. For Brakes it has been upgraded with 6 Piston and 4 Piston Four Wheel Disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. When you look under it all the floors and frame appear to be original and rock solid. For exhaust it has manifolds with Dual Pipes and the stock style mufflers.
