This car comes to us from a private collection of an accomplished Italian automotive mechanic. The car has resided in California since being delivered to the United States. Verbal history is that the vehicle was used in a number of movies prior to being acquired by said collector. Since his acquisition, the car was lovingly restored with major attention to detail. The car was entered to the prestigious, Concorso Italiano event in 2011 to where it won the Best Fiat award. Since, the car has been lovingly kept in that same collection until his passing. The car is powered by its 1089cc OHV inline four cylinder engine producing 40 hp at 4400rpm and 52 lb.ft of torque at 2500rpm, 4 speed manual transmission with synchromesh in gears 2,3 and 4, and rear wheel drive. The suspension is independent double A-arm front suspension with coil springs, and a live axle dual semi-elliptical leaf springs. The brakes are Four-wheel hydraulic drums 180 x 42-mm drums at all four corners. The car is finished in light beige exterior paint over coordinating two tone interior. The exterior paint is beautiful as is the trim and exterior appointments, the interior remains excellent in all areas the engine and engine bay remain detailed and tidy and the trunk and underside are excellent. The car is a spirited driver and turns heads wherever it goes. The car comes complete with Jack and tool roll. What an opportunity to own one of the best Fiat 1100s on the planet!
