Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1959 Plymouth FURY recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1959 Plymouth FURY problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: The spectacular 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury Coupe featured here is finished in the factory color combination of Iceberg White over Jet Black with a red interior. This particular example was sold new in April 1959 by Hettinger Brothers Plymouth in Reading, Pennsylvania and remained in the Reading area until 2018. The Sport Fury was meticulously maintained by the family of the original owner until the early 1990's when it was acquired by its second owner, who would in turn pass ownership of the Fury to his son for an additional 20 plus years of family ownership. Today the Fury presents in spectacular original condition, with original paint and an incredibly well preserved factory interior. The front seats have been maintained by clear covers for decades while a mere 54,000 miles are present on the odometer. Corroborating the mileage are service records showing 49,000 miles in 1982 and still as few as 51,000 in 1984. An incredible assortment of documentation accompanies this first production year Sport Fury with the original owner's manual, original dealer service book, original warranty service certificate, the original license plate frame from the selling dealer and more! With low, documented mileage and such originality the Sport Fury has been presented with a Historical Preservation Original Features certification from the Antique Automobile Club of America. Simply put this is the best example to be found on the market today and is perhaps the most original and lowest mileage example in existence! We are especially proud to offer this exceptional 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury Coupe to the most particular collector or investor who appreciates low mileage and original condition.
