Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1992 Land Rover DEFENDER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1992 Land Rover DEFENDER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: 1992 Land Rover Defender 130 - Rare HCPU (Hi-Capacity Pickup) - Desirable 200Tdi Turbo Diesel Motor - Left Hand Drive - Legally Imported and Properly Titled in Michigan - Brand New AC System (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this very cool, extremely rare Land Rover Pickup. This 1992 Defender 130 example hails from the Netherlands, has been legally imported to the U.S. and comes with a clean/registered Michigan title. Before the move across the pond, the vehicle toured Europe as a camper pickup with the custom Defender roof rack being utilized for hauling gear and served as a rooftop ten platform. The ultimate utilitarian vehicle. The truck is finished in blue with a white top and a highly original interior. It is powered by the tried and true 200Tdi Turbo Diesel 4-Cylinder engine mated to a 5-Speed Manual gearbox with manual 4WD. The truck is also Left Hand Drive, which is not common for most imported Defenders from the UK. The engine was recently overhauled, runs extremely well, and shifts smooth. Since delivery in the states a few years ago, the truck has had some very tasteful modifications. It has a brand new Air Conditioning System that was just professionally installed by AutoLab in Grand Rapids, MI. It also has upgraded LED headlamps and tail lamps, Boost wheels, sprayed bedliner, and new rear cross member. It has been well cared for and it shows in appearance and driving feel. If you have been following these Defenders, LS-swapped versions are selling for $150k plus. This is an all original example and a hard to find 130 model. You'll be hard pressed to find another one with these features for the price we are asking here. No excuses - just a bullet proof Defender truck, manufactured at Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations facility.
