Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1992 Land Rover DEFENDER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1992 Land Rover DEFENDER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: I feel like I'm going back to my British roots with this 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 TDI County. This exceptional and unique SUV was built and raised in the United Kingdom before being imported to the U.S. A. A Right-Hand Drive with a 5 speed manual transmission it is a 2.5 (2495cc) 4 Cylinder Turbo Diesel (Tdi)with low miles- only 138,150 miles. Clean Pennsylvania title, runs great, and the gears shift smoothly (including 4WD). The vehicle underwent an extensive overhaul several years ago in England. It was repainted and received an undercoating to prevent rust. This fun driving is not plush, no bells and whistles, and like all diesels ... slow (top speed is around 70-75 mph). This vehicle is made for the mountains ...or the beach or great for delivering newspapers or mail! Also wonderful for off roading on the farm or the range! A little history: The Land Rover Defender (initially called the Land Rover Ninety and Land Rover One Ten) is a British four-wheel drive off-road vehicle developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover series first launched at the in April 1948 at the Amsterdam Auto Show. After a continuous run of 67 years production finally ended on 29 January 2016 . The Defender was last sold in the US in 1997 so this is a much sought after vehicle here in the United States. This diesel engine finally allowed the Defender to cruise comfortably at our speed limits, as well as tow heavy loads speedily on hills while still being economical.
