Additional Description: Here is a very special 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa. Finished with a Guards Red exterior and Black leather interior. Driven just 43,780 careful miles since new. Options include a 5-speed manual transmission, 8-way power driver seat, automatic speed control, Pioneer stereo and much more. This low mileage 911 Carrera 2 Targa just underwent a complete service within the last 20 miles which included a tune-up, oil and fluids, brand new tires and more. The air cooled 6 cylinder engine is strong and powerful and the 5-speed manual transmission shifts properly through all of the gears. The steering is tight and precise and the brakes feel just great. All of the electronics work properly as does the air conditioning. This really is a fantastic 911 Targa to drive. The interior is stunning. The Black leather seats are in remarkable condition (see pictures) showing virtually no wear at all to any of the seats. The dashboard is like new and even the carpets don't look or feel like they have been stepped on thanks to the Porsche floor mats that have been protecting them. The exterior is what really sets this particular 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa apart from the rest. The Guards Red paint is in fantastic condition (see pictures) with no major scratches or dings anywhere at all. The paint is bright and shiny with plenty of luster. Add the optional alloy wheels mounted on brand new tires and this Porsche really does look special. The 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa really is the ultimate exotic car. It has timeless looks, exotic performance, a removable Targa top for open or closed air fun along with all of Porsche's legendary safety, craftsmanship and reliability. The only real apologies to this 911 Carrera 2 Targa are a few typical nicks and chips (see pictures) that are to be expected on any used car. Please feel free to call me (Matt 516-658-4048) with any additional questions you may have.

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1991 Porsche 911 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
